For one of our clients we are looking for 2 Test Engineers.

Job Mission:

Ensure a good efficient testing & qualification of new machine types and their software.

Job Description:

Software qualification. Define and execute software qualification tests on the new proto type systems and on test benches. Every week a new development software baseline is released and must be tested on the test benches and the proto type systems. As much as possible should be tested on the test benches to relieve the claim on the very expensive proto type systems. Therefore part of the challenge is also to make these test benches as representative as possible.
Creating system tests. Create system level test to qualify the system and the software and to test the reliability of the system and the different modules of the system. These system level tests are typically implemented in the form of Python scripts.
Trouble shooting. Define and create solutions to problems that occur during your testing. This typically means that you do the first analysis of the problem yourself and then find the development project that is responsible for fixing the problem. After the problem has been dispatched you should assist the development project in defining and testing the solution and make sure that they deliver an adequate solution in time.

Educational Level:

WO/HBO education level
Computer Science, Physics, Electronics, Mechanics, Mathematics or comparable

Experience:

Minimum of 2 yrs. working experience in the field of Software Testing
Experience with programming (Unix, Python)
Some experience and interest in automation is a plus

Personal Skills:

A strong communicative personality with a pragmatic attitude.
Flexible and goal oriented, able to realize progress within an uncertain and rapidly changing environment.
Good knowledge of the English and Dutch language.
Takes ownership, decisive, ability to lead a small team.

Testanalist / Testcoördinator

Voor één van onze eindklanten zijn wij momenteel opzoek naar een Testanalist.

TAKEN EN RESULTAATGEBIEDEN:

De ICT-basisinfrastructuur is een complexe technische infrastructuur die op professionele wijze beheerd wordt. Deze basisinfrastructuur bestaat uit een samenstel van informatiesystemen, netwerken en communicatiemiddelen dat gebruik maakt van ruim honderd centraal opgestelde servers, 160 servers op evenzoveel Posten in ca. 130 landen en een Wide Aera Network (WAN) dat is gebaseerd op land- en satellietverbindingen. Het beschikt over een Local Area Network (LAN) met duizenden werkstations.

De vervanging van deze basisinfrastructuur is onlangs gestart als project. Tevens houdt deze vervanging ook in dat alle applicaties die hierop draaien, getest moeten gaan worden.

Dit is dan ook de reden om vier applicatie deelprojecten project in te richten, die ervoor zorgen dat de applicaties gaan cq blijven werken op de vernieuwde basisinfrastructuur. De projectmedewerker wordt ingedeeld bij het deelproject User-applicaties en wordt belast met de volgende taken en resultaatgebieden:

het opstellen van testscripts
ondersteunen gebruikers bij test specificatie
het opstellen van test impact analyses
voorbereiden en ondersteunen gebruikersacceptatie testen
onderhouden van contacten met externe partijen
documenteren en beheren van test bevindingen

De afdeling:

De afdeling ICT/TM maakt onderdeel uit van de Directie ICT en is verantwoordelijk voor het beheer van de basisinfrastructuur en zal een belangrijke speler zijn in het projectteam en de testomgevingen. Organisatorisch is de afdeling ICT/TM onderverdeeld in de volgende bureaus:

Tactische Analyse (TA) met daarbinnen de clusters IT (Informatietechnologie), CT (Communicatietechnologie), KT (Kantoortechnologie), OT (ondersteunende technologie) en
Server- &: Netwerkbeheer (SN).

De afdeling Programma- en Projectmanagement (PPM) is gericht op het systematisch uitvoeren van de IVC-strategie in (samenhangende programma's en) gestructureerde projecten, waarbinnen de visie en strategie van de klant wordt omgezet in concrete resultaten.

VEREISTEN VOOR DE FUNCTIE HARDE EISEN WAARAAN KANDIDAAT MOET VOLDOEN:

HBO of academisch niveau
Minimaal 3 jaar recente ervaring als testanalist
Minimaal aantoonbare (brede) ervaring met testcoördinatie
Aantoonbare ervaring met het opstellen van test impactanalyses

OVERIGE EISEN EN WENSEN:

Ervaring met Tmap Next, Prince 2, ITIL
Technisch goed onderlegd
Uitstekende schriftelijke en mondelinge vaardigheden
Migratie en conversie ervaring

TOELICHTING (korte typering van geschikte medewerker)

De testanalist zal zijn/haar inzet besteden aan het voorbereiden en uitvoeren van de gebruikersacceptatie testen ter ondersteuning van de deelprojectleider en tevens testmanager User-applicaties. De projectmedewerker is zich bewust van het belang van testen en werkt gestructureerd en accuraat om dit doel te bereiken. Uitstekende communicatieve en schriftelijke vaardigheden zijn key voor het uitvoeren van zijn/haar taken.
